    Hi!
I am a student in College looking for a right computer to buy. After long consideration, I've decided IBM T42 is the best one for me.
However, since there are so many different models, it was hard for me to choose one but finally I decided on 3 models.
After looking @ ibm.com/education and asking Bill from thinkpads.com, I've got $2149(without shipping) for 3UU and $1888.95 (with shipping)for JXU and DXU @ $2293.95(with shipping).
my friends being telling me to buy the chipest but then when I look @ the specs, it's hard to decide.
Would 14inch make huge difference ovr 15 inch?
And different wireless specs (ibm b/g or intel b/g) would make difference?
What I am looking for in computer is portability, good wireless network, playing games such as SIM2, and doc use.
Sorry for so many questions..but I need help..

The 14-inch model is smaller and has a better battery life.

The 15-inch has a much more vibrant screen (in my opinion) with better viewing angles, but a shorter battery life, and it's bigger.

I haven't noticed a difference between the Intel 2200 and the IBM wireless card, but some prefer the IBM.

I've decided to choose between JXU and DXU.
JXU only cost 1888.95 with shipping from ibm/education but then DXU cost $2198 from chefvalue.com I feel that $1888.95 the best price I would find with JXU.
Now I am worried whether to buy from www.ibm.com or not. If I find dead pixels, is it possibel to return it to them even with 1 pixel?
And would my JXU will come with IWS warranty?
    thanx!
