Anybody has tried that? Just saw 1.26 pops up. Not sure if I should update to it. I don't have any issues with the machine at the moment on current 1.24 bios.

this update has actually been available for quite some time on other countries' support portals.   if there were any major issues then it would have been pulled off the web by now before releasing on the US site or through TVSU.   i've been running 1.26 for around two weeks without issue and know of others who have been as well.

like any BIOS update, you aren't going to notice a difference unless you're explicitly experiencing the issues addressed in the update or there's a major revision to the embedded controller.   otherwise you're simply running the newest code and enjoying peace-of-mind that you won't run into any of the issues fixed in the latest revision.

a complete revision history can be found toward the bottom of the latest installation file: http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles/8duj14us.txt
