I flashed my bios using the util and files from lenovo site. All went well, the computer works fine. However, I would like to see if flashing back to the old bios will fix a problem with my wlan. I may have to send the computer in for repair and I prefer to send it back in original state.

Can the bios be rolled back somehow? When it was flashing, I saw it backup the original bios but where is that stored and what would the process be?

You can download the older BIOS from the Lenovo support page, extract and install it. I've done it with two older BIOS' for my X60s, and it was no problem.

Thanks for replying. I have found some older bios files but not my original one. Seems it wasn't released publicly. Since I flashed with the upgrade my wireless has stopped working. It's not detected and no radio light.

Seems they might have moved the wlan switch in bios. Have you checked that it is still on (under a possibly new heading) in bios? See here.

zillal! Thank you, you were right. There are two places for the wlan in the bios now. Cheers!
