Few days back, Thinkpad failed to boot, Blue screen came four times and error was Unable to mount boot volume.Later, the machine started normally and fully functional.Yesterday, the clock time changed on it's own.Today it showed the error 0231, I had to set the time in BIOS and boot the machine. After working for few hours, the date changed on it's own. I am typing from the same machine, the Machine is still under warranty. What would the solution for this problem?

you got to change the CMOS battery, which thinkpad model do you have?

It's a T43.Used PC-Doctor, although all the test were passed, but when I clicked on hardware event log, at first the PC hanged, after restart, when I clicked hardware event log,the blue screen came,it mentioned that PFN_list_corrupt.Kindly check that hardware/software is properly installed and updated. It's strange indeed.
Today, again the same error is showing up,0231. -
If it's under warranty, call support and let them sort it out.
blue screen appeared, but machine is working,Now error 0231
