    anyway you can tell if battery is brand new, not used, and not refurbished?

    Could take a look at the cycle count in Power Manager.

    i thought in power manager battery can be reset.

    Yes, but that doesn't reset the cycle count.

    Lenovo probably has special firmware update softwares to reset the cycle counts, but it is not available to the general users.
