    hey,

so i have been using the T500 for a few weeks now and i have to say, im pretty satisfied with the whole package. my only concern is that i chose to get 2gb of memory(but thankfully i got 1dimm so its just the matter of buying and installing another 2gb when its cheaper). and the reason the memory of an issue is that in task manager its always running at like 50% which simply scares me.

ok so the question i had was about the built in webcam. the T500 came with the roxio creator business edition. that software has a nice feature where it lets you use your webcam to capture video. now in the instance that i get rid of roxio, will my webcam still be installed and will i be able to use it in msn and yahoo messenger??? and also is there any other GOOD software that lets me take pictures and video using my webcam???

    thanks

Your webcam will definitely still be installed. It has its own driver and should appear in device manager. I don't know about MSN or Yahoo, but the webcam on my x200 works fine in Skype, and I have no Roxio related product on my system. The webcam also shows up as a source in video capture applications like VirtualDub, if you want to use it for that.
