    I just used the Crucial Memory Advisor™ tool and it says "Guaranteed-compatible with the Lenovo Thinkpad X220." That must mean this drive is 7mm and will fit in the X220.

    That size on an SSD is simply amazing. Looks like a great product. Enjoy it.

    That cost almost as much as my X220i. According to Amazon it's a 7mm drive with a 9.5mm adapter. You can download the X220 Hardware Maintenance Manual here. I'll refer you to pages 64 and 65 if you get stuck.
