    Hello every body this my first thread here and i want ask you if my laptop

    allow to upgrade the ram memory to

    3 GB my laptop

    my IBM is thinkpad t60

    see the picture below

    and tell me if my laptop allow or not

    and who upgraded his ram laptop

    from 1 GB to 3 GB

    it big different or just little different

    I just updated to 3gb on my T61. There was one slot open.

    I got my RAM from Kahlon (don't have the URL handy), but it was about $55 for a 2GB chip.

    You can also download BelArc advisor. This tool will scan the software and hardware of your PC and give you a nice complete summary of what you have (including memory slots and what's in them).

    Search the Lenovo/IBM forum for RAM upgrade for the T60/T61. Upgrading the ram is the same for both of them. There is a detailed guide somewhere on this forum. It is very helpful
