Go matte, glossy collect more fingerprint than you would ever want.
The first pic is glossy 13", which has the same finish as the 14"
-
Anything remotely thinkpad should not be glossy
.
Go with matte... -
agree. Glossy and a thinkpad should not be allowed in the same sentence.
-
Is the matte even available yet?
-
i can google too. the whole reason for this thread is to see user photos in the wild of the 14 and 15. (not the 13 which different in design)
the version i want (14'' with 320G HDD and 4 GIG ram) has only glossy version where i am from.
does anyone have a 14/15 model glossy? -
The finish are the same, it similar glossy finish, the only difference is the size of the laptop. Are you locate in the united states? If you are, I believe best buy have them in matte.

But this line of thinkpads is to lure people whom like their bling trimming on their laptops. Think of it as a bait for people whom mostly uses consumer laptops to start using Thinkpads. Hopefully, this will lead to these customers buying into other Thinkpad range like the T and W series.
Just like what BMW is doing with their 1 series, the first stepping stone to the whole family of BMW range for people whom may not have considered BMW as their first prestige car. -
I like the new keyboard, but I agree that the silver trim make it look tacky.
can someone post a picture of thinkpad edge 14/15 glossy lid
