I would like to play the upcoming C&C 3 and wc4 flawlessly. Would the x1400 be able to handle that? Also, would hte x1400 be able to run vista premium flawlessly too?

Hopefully my thinkpad can play games! that way when i'm at the office in my cubicle and no one's looking, i can pop open red alert 2 or C&C 3 when it comes out hehe :D

CPU: l.6 GHz or faster [seems a bit slow but its whats on the box]
RAM: 256 (512 for 3 players or more) or higher
HD: 6 or more GB free space
    SOUND: DirectX 9.0c compatable
VIDEO: DirectX 9.0c compatable, video card 64 MB or higher, (and one chip set) ATI Radeon 8500 or greater or NVIDIA Geforce 3 or greater

I just got a T60 with the x1400 and all I can say is that its awesome. I can play Doom3 on medium settings without any problems. I can also play NFS Carbon without a hitch. I'm not sure of the settings on NFS, I haven't tweaked it yet. I was wondering if anyone else that has the x1400 was experiencing the same thing that I am, windows detects the Graphics Card as a 512mb card.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I think the x1400 uses your RAM to boost it's overall memory to 512mb

I know that it uses system RAM to boost it, but how much memory is actually on the card?

Don't play games on my T60. But, I would recommend updating ATI drivers with Omega drivers: http://www.omegadrivers.net - those got TONS of optimization utils, I'm sure you find something useful in there ;)
