ive been trying to resolve this for hours. getting a bit angry at this point, lol.
i tried the sata controller drivers on Lenovo's site for XP, when i slipstream the iaStor.inf and iaAHCI.inf into my win xp cd, it doesnt blue screen with 0x7b like i normally would if the drivers weren't present at the F6 prompt, BUT....it now says the iaStor.inf isnt compatible with winXP 64 bit. on lenovo's site, it just says "windows XP". it doesnt specify 32 or 64.
all i need is the sata controller drivers to slipstream into my xp 64 bit disc. someone please help!!!
ive searched the lenovo forums with not much help. i found a big thread in this forum, but it was for a thinkpad i think. not sure if the controllers are the same.
can someone tell me which controller i even have? im having a hard time finding that as well. if i found that, im sure i could find the right drivers on google.
THANKS in advance!!!!!
edit: this is the driver i tried slipstreaming, with no success.
could the files i need be located in the chipset driver by any chance? i downloaded that too, and theres a million inf files in there.
