    Hi guys,

I just ordered a T61 notebook. They kept telling me the shipping time is three weeks but I hardly believe them after what I've read here. Anyways...In the mean time I'd like to find a replacement for the keyboard. Is it possible to change the keyboard to a swedish layout? And where can I buy this from?

The guys at lenovo helpdesk told me they cant sell it...:/, maybe IBM does?

Thanks! I called tech support and asked them about the FRU...they said as is on the website, that there are three different manufactureres producing the keyboard. They didnt know (two representatives) what the difference was betweent the three. Does anyone know? These exisist:
    alps: 42t3230
    chicony: 42t3294
    nmb: 42t3164

They are all part numbers for the same keyboard but different manufacturers:

Which one should I choose? Is there any difference?

    Thanks,
    Johan

I surfed around a bit and it seems that the NMB manufacturer is the best. IBM sells it for 140 usd...which is a tad bit expensive... and I was wondering where I can find it elsewhere?
