When I turn on my T60, the message "checking embedded security chip" is displayed for a minute. Is it normal for it to take this long? I went to the client security panel to disable it, but the description made it sound like it is necessary for the fingerprint reader to work, is this true?

To solve this I disabled the embedded security chip in the BIOS and uninstalled the Client Security Solution software.
