    Clean Install

    So I want to do a clean install of Vista..but I don't feel like re-downloading and re-configuring all my programs (There's alot!). Someone motivate to do it :eek:

    Teach him (and me) how to put Windows on a separate partition without having to buy a windows CD (because he already paid for the license when he bought the laptop I mean, not as in how to steal, but how can I use the license that came with the laptop to do this)? :D

    When I do a clean install should I stay with Vista or make the upgrade to 7?

    That depends on how you feel about Vista, do you feel it is slightly sluggish or the constant requests for confirmation annoying? If not then don't upgrade.

    Win 7 is good, but there are some Lenovo driver quirks under Win 7.
