    i have vista running right now and i want to do a clean install of windows 7 professional 64bit

    im not sure where to start.. can someone help me through the process? is there a guide on this somewhere?

    like what partition do i need to delete.. which do i need to keep

    how do i get access to the internet when i have windows 7.. does the thinkvantage system update 4.0 work without internet?

    Obviously it won't. A fresh install will be able to connect to the Internet right away so using System Update wouldn't not a problem.

    when i boot from disc.. i clicked install windows 7

    at collecting information.. it says for me to "select the driver to be installed"
    and then it says no drivers can be found.. and tell me to find drivers to install

    whats up with that

    At "Collecting Information", I would click on "Custom Install". Here you will get to choose which partition to install the OS in, and how to partition your HDD.
