i am trying to get my usb 2.0 to work again. i have read on the forums that some people have problems with 2.0 working after a clean install. i followed the guide exactly but for some reason when i plug in my xbox vision it will not recognize it because my computer is only sensing 1.1. can anyone help me out with a possible fix.

i saw something you need to do with sp1. thanks in advance and the screen shot is of my device manager and i have windows xp and downgraded from vista.

What guide? Got a link? (humor me; at night I'm dumb as well as loud-mouthed ;) ).

Also, since I don't know exactly what the guide in question advised, did you also get all of the appropriate chipset drivers? If you haven't installed all of the chipset drivers, your USB host controller may not have USB 2.0 functionality (and, if you did that already, humor me, .... You know the drill :D ).
