I want to re partition my 160G HD and reinstall vista.
My original system is vista home premium and I have an OEM disc for home premium I bought from newegg
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116202
that I used in another computer.

    Question is -
Can I use the OEM disc and lenovo key to install the home premium?

I assuem that I can find all the drivers for essential drivers for Thinkpad accessories (fingerprint reader, video card, BT, harddrive protection softwares), am I correct?

    Any suggestions? Thanks.

I would just use the one with the disc, then change the key back to the one on your machine when you go to activate it.

You should be able to use that disk and the Thinkpad key. I thought all the disk are the same (except 32bit vs 64bit) and the key determines the version (OEM, Home Premium, Ultimate).

Thanks. Actually I did not notice that it mentioned all the Vista discs are the same at first.

I used a vista ultimate disc with the OEM key from lenovo. I think this should work for you.
