Go to Walmart (or similar) or a hardware store and purchase a spray can of compressed air. Just open your computer and spray around. It'll blast all the dust away.

Just don't turn on your laptop for about 5-10 minutes. It evaporates quickly but rather not risk it.

Little plastic parts like those found lurking about the nether regions of a keyboard can, in fact, become permanently discolored or damaged if frozen with an air duster. It's also possible to permanently crack the LCD.

One more thing: over-revving the cooling fan(s) with a blast of compressed air can permanently damage the fan's motor as well.

Read the cooling guide for some tips about using compressed air.
