just got win7 on my t500, awesome but not without problem

everytime i put my computer to sleep and open it up, it goes to that swipe your fingers screen and when i do, it tell me my computer is lock so i have to switch and type in my password. it's really annoying and it's a problem with some setting, i just don't know which on, any ideas?

That's because Windows is set to lock your computer on sleep. At least in Vista, this can be changed at: Control Panel > search for "Power Options" > in left hand column, click "Require a password on wakeup" > click the radio button for "Don't require password on wakeup."

Correct me if I am wrong, but probably ipam has the same problem as I have:

When I have a certain power scheme (Max. battery life) selected, have the machine plugged in and press the keys for sleep (Fn + F4), the screen goes black (nothing unusual until this point) - the machine never goes to sleep but when I move the mouse the screen switches on again and shows the "locked workstation" screen.

    Help is appreciated :)

    Greetz!
