    hi all-
    i did a search before and apologies if i am repeating a topic. my win7 x220 recently borked and lenovo are sending me recovery discs. however i do not have a DVD/CD drive, is there any way to put these on a USB? thanks in advance!

    Hmm, not sure....depends on what the nature of the discs (is it an image with an image loader, or an actual Windows install disc with additional software discs?)

    If it is not an image based disk, you could possible use this
    Microsoft Store Online

    It will copy a dvd to usb depending on how the recovery disc was set up.

    The other option would be to just use a normal windows install disc and the key in the battery compartment for install
