    talked to a lenovo rep today regarding making a usb recovery stick on your own in case you want to install a new HDD and dont want to go through cloning software.. YOU WILL NEED A 16GB flash drive!

    To do so just hit windows key+f and type in recovery and click settings on the right panel under the search.

    then click on create a recovery drive. This will allow you to make a bootable drive with the usb stick, looking at the files it appears to look like os install files. Don't forget to copy the drivers folder from the D:
