Have anyone in here gotten their money back from the price drop recently? I ask this question because I called in last Monday and was promised to get an email/credit back w/in 48 hours. Well, it's been a week and I still dont see anything yet. In fact I called back again last Thursday, and got another answer, this time it's "5 days". Well, Today is the 21st day since I got the laptop, I just worry that Lenovo is playing game w/ me to let it pass 21 day price protection then turn around and say, blah blah, there is not thing I can do for you blah blah blah. If it's $20 or $50 I wouldn't careless but it's $200.![]()
so did you get yours or how was your experience w/ this credit back?

You need to send something in writing to their office today. You should have sent something as soon as you realized the difference to protect yourself. At this point, still send a letter, but call and keep escalating to high level managers until you get what you need. Be polite, but firm. You may want to involve your credit card company if the problem is not resolved.

I asked price adjustment, and they directly rejected....
-
which email should I send it to ?? -
-
-
was yours still in 21 days price protection? (count from the ship date?) and did you threaten to send back yours?
-
When I asked them for it, my order hadn't been shipped.
They gave me some reasons such as "no price matching for student discount purchasing" bla bla bla.... -
If all else fails, call and talk to your credit card company; they're who actually gives Lenovo the money. -
At the same time I'll talk to my credit card company to see what they could do. -
I created a quote, called Lenovo, talked to a support rep, gave him the quote number and my cust num and order num, he compared the orders and submitted for price match. This was a week ago so I'm now waiting for my credit.

This makes me nervous about the problem I had with the checkout price being lower than the order status price. The sales rep said it would be no problem if I emailed a screenshot of the checkout page, but I have my doubts.
-
I presume none of this pricematching invalidates your TailorMade &/or FatWallet discounts.
-
-
well I dont even care about that as the amount of FatCash is only $30 or so compare to the $200 I'm waiting for. -
I received the new Electronic Receipt for Invoice today which shows the pricematch $300 credit. All is good by the looks of things, submitted July 21st so it takes about 2 weeks to get it processed.

Does anyone know if the pricematch works for EPP orders?
I created a new quote today that's $120 cheaper than my currenct order (still not shipped) and the rep said he'd make a note on my file to do a price match once it ships. I forgot to ask if that's OK for EPP orders. -
I am not sure if Lenovo has changed business practices but I did get a price match shortly after buying my laptop 6 months ago. Saved the quote, sent it to the agent's email addy after calling, got the pricematch soonafterwards and an email confirmation.

Nope, at the time I was not aware of all the special deals I could've saved even more $$$$ that I could've qualified for at the time.
-
I'm happy now. I just got the $ back.only $180 though, a little less than what i was expecting but it's ok. Now my cost for the T61 is only $860 before tax.
-
less than you were expecting? Whose calculation was wrong, yours or theirs?!
-
well, it's less than the amount I count calculate using the quote. It's not a whole lot so, I really dont mind. Even if they gave me $100 I'd still happy.
credit back from pricematch
