    just got off the phone with a lenovo sales rep, was told that ALL t61 orders are on the critical list.

    So basically no critical list for preferred customers (for the t61) really exists.

    according to sales rep, ship date is 6/26/07

    you can call and get a free bag (up to $100, got the premium leather case myself) but it will ship with or after my t61

    later

    What a joke! Can't believe I fell for the Critical List hype myself. I just called and emailed my rep again asking for my free bag(s) as well since I have 2 on order delayed until 6/26.

    I heard the end of june thing when I called today and I don't believe it. I don't think the reps know that lenovo is trying to re-book all these delayed orders. If you go put in a new order today it gives you june 26th ship date. I think everyday since nothing is progressing with the delayed orders they just get pushed back to the end of the line.

    Hkings, I see you're selling an advanced mini dock on ebay. Are you selling just that one or do you frequently sell these docks?

    ordered - 5/21
    original ship - 6/7
    delayed to - 6/26

    request for bag - 6/7 (upon finding my delayed ship date)
    request for bag approved - 6/8

    original sales rep: Imraan Khan (helpful but did not reply to last 2 emails)

    rep I've phoned and kept in contact since is Jessica Morassutti (very helpful but has little power to change this problem). Was offered bag (up to $100) or $50 off.

    Original Order 5/20 Est. 6/7. Then delayed till 6/26. Canceled today by me.

    Second Order 6/8 Est. 6/27.

    I had reordered to take advantage of some deals and change my config a bit, ened up being about $50 cheaper than my original order so I guess its ok that I probably cannot get the $100 bag deal since I canceled my earlier order. Lets just hope (knock on wood) that the newer orders do not get delayed like the older ones did. Hopefully everything can get out in a timely manner now that they fixed the problem....
