Given the current pricing: 25%+10%(15for Rseries)+15% FW Cashback.

Is this pricing to clear out their current stock before the next major refresh???

My point is, if i choose to wait a few weeks for the new series, will all these discounts suddenly disappear??? $600 for a pretty good spec'd R61 (t8100) seems really cheap.

From the past threads, most people suggest waiting for the new series. Does this kind of pricing come along for newer models??? (typically)

Seems doubtful. An XPS 1330 with a Penryn and and LED display costs over $1300. I doubt you'll be able to get your hands on a comparably equipped t400 for significantly less.
