This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    i have been unable to get my firewire 4-pin to work on the t61p. the problem is definitely the laptop and not the connecting hardware or cable. any solutions or will i have to call support and send my laptop in for checking?

    yes that's right unless you have on site warranty you'll have to send it in.
