    did someone change the battery from 6cell to 4cell?

    Just wondering has someone changed the battery from 6 to 4 after placed order? I heard from this board there is a 6battery shortage and I wonder change it to 4 cell may speed up the order.

    any suggestions?

    Is the status of my order will always be IN process until ship?

    it's really hard to say man. i feel like the whole delay thing is a self-reinforcement cycle:

    initially, levono had shortage for 9-cells. then ppl start changing their orders to 6-cells, which may partially caused the 6-cell shortage lately. THEN, ppl come to "realize" that maybe the shipment would be even faster if change to 4-cells....... and that leads to a possible 4-cell battery shortage? then what?

    lenovo should really put together their internal operation mgmt, jeez

    That was the case with mine. No emails or anything, just one day it said it'd shipped and here's the tracking number.
