    Hi,

    I want to bay a Lenovo 15.4'' but before this, I want to know which are the differences between the T61 and T61p other than the graphic card.

    And also how big is the difference in performance between a hdd with 5400 and one with 7200 RPM.

    you answer doesn't help me a lot.
    I suppose that there are some differences between these two types of laptops, but I want to know exactly which ones and after this if these differences deserve to pay more money or not.

    I would say the main difference between T61 and T61p IS the graphic card, so the choice depends on if you will or will not demand graphic performance a lot.

    7200 rpm hd is noticeable faster than 5400 rpm, but more rpm (and more powerful graphic card as well) will demand more your battery and your fan system.

    The difference between the t61 and t61p is, do you want to play games like fear crysis lost planet ext... or do you want to play solitaire and pinball? 570m is just a 8600m ddr3 renamed. Other than the graphics card if you configure everything else the same they are identical. As for HDD speeds there is a considerable speed difference for load times.
