ok, so i have a private disk which i use for storing personal information. Only pro blem is that i everytime windows starts i have to type the password for this disk. So that's why i want to use a digital certificate instead. Only problem is that i have no digital certificates and i have absolutly no idea how to create one.
    Any help would be welcome

digital certificates are not created by the end user.
They're typically used by browsers to authenticate internet commerce transactions... i've never heard of using one to access your disk but i could be unaware.

digital certificates are issued by a trusted source, eg. Verisign
