i've got a t60 with advanced mini-dock which has a coaxial socket (on the right hand side, labelled "spdif" iirc), if i use a digital coax cable and run it to my av reciever, will it be able to output 5.1 sound?

currently im using a audigy notebook pcmcia card but keep having to unplug the spdif cable everytime i undock, other than that i have no problems with it but having a fully docked solution would be ideal.

    Bump!

Has anyone gotten the S/pdif out working on an external av receiver?
