    According to the notebookreview.com review of the thinkpad t61, the notebook's lcd is dimmer in comparison to other brands. I am considering buying a thinkpad but is the screen not up to par with other brands?

    All computer manufacturers that offer WXGA+ screens use the same brand of screens (LG and Samsung). In other words, don't worry about it.
