    hi guys

    how do you disable the finger print reader thing ?.....i dont reallu use it....i know its a security feature but im not that bothered about it...it keeps popping up..see pic below of what i mean .....i prefer to logon using my username and paswword...cheers for the help..

    to be honest...the state my fingers are in..i dont think there is any chance that this fingerprint will read my fingerprint...fingers are oily and greasy...i work on cars ...lol

    go to Control Panel/system/hardware/device manager.

    click on biometric and disable the "touchchip fingerprint coprocessor".

    no such thing or anykind of fingerprint device there....i just deleted the omnipass software.....it doesnt strt up anymore....

    disabling through bios would have worked to.
