Hi, I have a Lenovo y530 and was wondering if anyone knew how to dismantle it (primarily to access the heatsink/cpu). I just finished cleaning it out with some compressed air and undervolting it. Now, I'm looking into using some arctic silver 5 or some other thermal compounds (this will be my first time ever applying this kind of stuff if I find a way to open up the y530). However, I have no clue as to how to access the cpu/heatsink.

I've already tried searching the lenovo forums and here, but couldn't find any guides. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    mbwu

there is no hardware manual for ideapad unlike Thinkpads, if you need to take it apart it would be trial and error process.
