This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    does the education discount or do any other discounts work in canada?
    im going to order from ibm.ca. anyone know another good place to order?

    You can order from Bill of thinkpads.com... good service and a bit cheaper than ibm canada. Otherwise, you can order from ecost.com but i never bought from them so I can't tell you if it's good or not... you can also check on ebay, there's always good deals...

    *EDIT* whatch out for refurbished (Recertified) laptop on ebay!!!
