    they just release it on May 31. Shouldn't be that fast even if you ordered it that day.

    I ordered mine on Jun 2, est Jun 21.

    I am almost sure there will be a delay... just hopefully not too bad.

    I got an email from the project manager in the customer satisfaction department. Below is his response to my question about delays to other orders besides the T61


    "Our records show your ver recent order was placed on 6/7/07 and is not affected by these widely publicized issues. Orders for X61s are not affected by the same trouble as the T.

    Your order shows as having released to manufacturing for build and the packing slip printed. I do not presently have a revised shipment date, but see no reason why your machine would not be built and shipped within normal lead times.

    I will advise further as any additional information becomes available."
