I have a question,
If you write Lenovo, will they send you a cd of drivers for your laptop? I really don't want to download them individually. I ordered my laptop from cdw-g and it did not come with any discs.
also, if you order from lenovo.com i assume they include a driver disc with the laptop, is this correct? i would like to do a clean install because i hate bloatware! thanks!

Physical discs and their contents get old too fast.
First do a clean install, then install network drivers from usb stick (of course you had them stored?).
Then download the System Update software and run it, choose rest of the drivers/software you wish to install and that's it. -
Actually all the Lenovo drivers are stored in the SWTOOLS folder on your root drive. Just copy the DRIVERS folder inside on to a USB Drive and you're done.
Though KLF has a good point in regards to the System Update application to make sure everything is up to date. -
I'd like to take this opportunity to point you to the Hearst Guide. Also in PDF (4.6MB).
