    dual monitors w/o dock with t60

    Hey. I have a t60 with a ati x1300 and currently have it set up with a 20inch widescreen lcd. I have it set to clone the desktop onto the samsung so that i can drag windows between them however my t60 is not widescreen. My question is

    Can I have the video card output a different resolution to the samsung lcd?

    and also,

    Can i have a different desktop background on the samsung without changing anything to my "main" 14" laptop screen?

    forgot to mention, i am not using a dock of any kind
