    Hi folks,

Quick one, wonder if anyone has issues with CPU throttling on their ThinkPad. Mine is an e540.

Seems to be throttling the CPU heavily.

Am running BIOS 2.18 and "maximum performance" power plan.

Still when running CPU intensive apps there's no more than ~15% of CPU speed assigned to it, while in the meantime the application hangs!

    Any thoughts?

    Hope so.

    Cheers,

    N*
