The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    eGPU and SB Lenovo laptops

    For anyone using or thinking about using an external GPU (eGPU/DIY ViDock or an official ViDock) please add support for our request to fix the TOLUD in new BIOS releases here:

    Without this fix, those of us using an eGPU are forced to use old BIOS files and miss out on any fan/CPU/UEFI fixes in current BIOS files and future BIOS files.

    Any support on this issue would be most appreciated.
