yeah, i don't know why but in power manager for me it has 2 max performance profiles, where one used to be the energy star one and the energy star one doesn't even show up on the power manager for windows 7.

Pacman, does that work for Windows 7 as well? After doing a fresh install of Windows 7, and then installing the Power Manager, I am now missing the Energy Star power setting. If you don't mind, can you advise as to the specific settings for the Battery and AC Power (and all the subcategories for each), in order to manually create a new power plan called Energy Star?

Your help is VERYYY appreciated, as my laptop now makes more noise and does random stuff, as compared to when I had the energy star plan selected.

    Thanks in advance!

    bump.

I had a single custom scheme on my x200. When I deleted the custom power scheme, 2 things happened:

    - energy star was also deleted
    - an extra Timers Off (Presentation) power scheme appeared on the list (now I have 2 of these  )

Anyone know how to get energy star back? In fact, I can't even delete the extra Timers Off...

    I've tried the above links.
