    Hi all,

Let me start with this, i am stupid enough to have forgot to add in bluetooth pan for my t61p 14.1" and i am going to get pc card bluetooth card for it. But if i slot that in, the express card slot will be vacant, leaving a big hole there. I wonder if anyone know if i can get a dummy card to slot in or something? I wanted to get memory card reader but all the reader in the market now is only expresscard/34 , even when u slot this in, u will still left with part of the hole. I dont want to slot in smart card reader as i dont think i will be using it, nor the hp expresscard/54 mouse, or remote......

    I need advice !!!!!!!!

    Thanks all

Are the bluetooth antennas built in on the T61p's? I am thinking about adding this as well, but I am not sure if the antenna is built into the screen already..

nevermind, it looks like the antenna is built onto the card itself and does not require an additional antenna, so as long as you have the socket you are good to go

i would call lenovo to make sure, but taking into consideration its in the maintenance manual, I would guess no.

yes it is located on the bottom left side of the lcd, its not really a lot of work, you can get the bluetooth kit from Lenovo and its basiclaly 5 screws and prying the bezel off, inserting the card and re attaching everything. Plus it integrates nicely with the hotkeys and you can use your card slots for something else.

Right, will have to check with ibm if they going to favour the warranty if i add in myself. In lenovo limited warranty statement, there is a clause saying ibm will not cover, damage caused by modification, so i am abit nervous... as i just got this unit new with 5 years warranty on it. :)
