will this expresscard to usb 3.0 card give me any benefit if I used it on my x200T?

I am pretty sure that the x200t do not have expresscard 2.0, so I don't know it will give the usb 3 speed if I buy this card.

I have a USB 3.0 expresscard adapter in my T420. It does give me full USB 3.0 speed but I do have Express Card 2.0. check your BIOS to see if there is an option to change your express card mode to automatic. If you can, you have 2.0.

I think that the x220 does have expresscard 2.0. At least the notebook version.

well you will get speed better then the usb 2.0 in your X200t, from memory it will give you about the half the maximum speed compared to USB 3.0 when i use a similar card in my X200.

I got this exact card. Maybe it just didn't like my T400, but the drivers are rubbish. I basically never got it to consistently work properly, but when it did, I got enough USB 3.0 speed such that my external drive became the bottleneck instead of the USB bus.
