I just installed power manager, hotkey, and fingerprint thinkvantage software on my X200 that shows was recently released on 1/5/2009 by Lenovo.

Since then, I have had these weird files on the root of my C drive. I deleted them, but this one file with the name ".rnd" keeps coming back every boot.

Does anybody else have a file called ".rnd" on their c drive?

Any ideas what it is or what uses it?

I'm kind of paranoid about random files floating around that I don't know about.

    Thanks -

    RA

Hmm...any idea which program it belongs to? I'm thinking either the TPM stuff or fingerprint...not sure what else would use PGP or why.
