    Hi,
I have X61 and thinking to install W7 ult 32b, it's not from IBM, retails disk.
could not confirm is there finger print soft that I can installe on clean w7.
On ibm.com there are links for Vista only.

Anybody has installed it on W7 ?

Yes there is native Windows 7 fingerprint software.

However, I recommend installing Lenovo's fingerprint software. There is Lenovo fingerprint software for Windows 7 32-bit available: Lenovo Support & downloads - Fingerprint Software 5.9.3 for Windows 7 (32-bit) - ThinkPad, ThinkCentre, ThinkStation

I believe you went straight to the Driver Matrices page where they don't seem to show the FPR software for Win 7.

EDIT: It seems the page with the Windows 7 software doesn't show X61/X61s under supported systems anymore, despite the link being shown when choosing downloads and drivers for X61s. I can however confirm that it works for a X61s as I have the same software (version 5.9.3.6581) installed on my own X61s with Win 7 Enterprise 32-bit.
