This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Has anyone here used a flash stick for readyboost on your Lenovo laptop?

    Is it really worth it?

    I used it on an old pc that runs athlon xp and it works pretty good. Can't tell any diff so far on a Lenovo R61...

    If you have >2GB RAM, then I don't think it would make much of a difference...
