    i was watching a movie and download stuff from n ftp and barely got 2 hours. is this normal? i have it on pretty much the lowest settings possible. movies must use a lot of power i guess

    It depends on how old your battery is too, Lithium-Ion batteries gradually lose their charge capacity over time. Screen brightness, wi-fi and processor speed are also factors. Playing a movie is certainly a drain on battery as the optical drive is constantly spinning.
