    hi
    just like the topic says,
it says its connected to the internet but its not.
windows diagnose and repair function wont detect any errors.
when i disconnect and connect again, it will start to work.
its usually slow and i heard the 5100 has been reported to have problems.

can i get suggestions on replacement network cards that are better so i can install it in myself? and if anyone knows if doing that will void the warranty.

Shutdown the firewall, dump access connections or try it on another network are some options. I don't believe the WiFi card is considered user replaceable.

I second uninstalling Access Connections. It sometimes causes more problems than it helps.

The Wi-Fi card is considered an optional CRU. That means that either the customer or a licensed technician can replace the card without voiding the warranty.

I have included a pic from the x200T maintenance manual, but the R400 should follow the same general rules (* means self-service CRU, ** means optional CRU, N means tech only).
