finally got it after 14 days of antagonizing wait, i have to say that i am pretty happy with it, feels extremely well-built. it's got the wow factor when i bought it to uni today. the biggest disappointment is with the screen, for a 400 nits display it is only a little brighter than my toshiba netbook with a 200 nits display. it should have twice the brightness but that's not the case.

This surprises me. My 285-nit display is very bright (I rarely run it at full brightness). Are you sure you have it all the way turned up? Have you tried it outdoors in the sun?

Ya, 400nits should be extremely bright. My desktop panel is 400nits and I usually run it at than less than 30% (inside obviously).
