Maybe a stupid question, but why is the green light on the right side of my W500 always on? I thought it was the ethernet port status, but I don't use it and disabled it, and the light is still on. I've looked through other settings, but probably missed it. Can anyone shed some light on the subject for me?

Ah, thank you. It finally turned off when I removed the optical drive. Is there any way to turn if off but keep the drive functional?
