    hard drives interchangeable

    can anyone inform me if hard drives are interchangeable between
    ibm x31 --30 and t series--they seem to be same size---different gigs and different systems---xp home addition-windows 2000 etc---in other words, if one lap top quits, can hard drive be switched to another if it will fit--

    If they are the same type of HDD then yes.

    The newer T series use SATA drives which won't be compatible with the X30/31.
