    no random shutdown on my T430 series (and i got all the different variations of this generation), and the T400s case was only applicable to a selected machines, i had 2 of them.

    I have the same problem, i think was the BIOS and i update the BIOS and i still have the same problem, and i use 2 systems, Windows 7 and Ubuntu 12.04 (BIO-LINUX) if someone know how to fix this say something.

    It randomly happens to my T420s even after its motherboard got replaced.
